SENAI-PE launches PERSEUS, a space startup accelerator to boost innovation in 2025.

With the support of SpaceSeed and MOA Ventures, SENAI-PE reinforces its leadership in innovation, not only in Pernambuco, but throughout Brazil. The institution, accredited as an Embrapii unit (Brazilian Company for Industrial Research and Innovation), has been driving important projects in geospatial intelligence, such as monitoring natural disasters and supporting public safety.
In addition to the accelerator, SENAI-PE is part of a consortium with the regional branches of São Paulo, Santa Catarina, and Bahia, with the goal of launching a Brazilian satellite constellation, which will have a significant impact on both industry and national security. With these advancements, the institution is paving the way for a more innovative and connected future, boosting the space industry in Brazil.
Partners and Supporters

The SENAI Institute for Innovation and Information and Communication Technologies (ISI-TICs) and SpaceSeed, a French initiative, will bring their technical and financial expertise to the development of space startups in Brazil. Together with MOA Ventures, which has extensive experience in accelerating DeepTechs (startups focused on creating new technologies through in-depth research and testing), HardTechs (startups proposing major innovations in hardware and physical engineering), and Industry 4.0 startups, the partnership will be strengthened by its effective methodology based on new businesses.

In February 2025, SENAI-PE will take a revolutionary step in the space sector with the launch of an accelerator dedicated to startups seeking innovation in the field of geospatial intelligence. PERSEUS (Pernambuco Space Entrepreneurship & Startup Support) aims to transform ideas into businesses, offering complete support from planning to prototype construction, with specialized mentoring and access to funding opportunities.
