Structured innovation for the Oil and Gas sector
Sebrae RN and MOA Ventures have consolidated a platform for collaboration between companies, startups, universities, and experts to accelerate the modernization of the oil and gas production chain.
PETRIS is active and accepting applications from corporations and startups that want to be part of this ecosystem.

Given the increasing complexity of the technical, environmental, and economic challenges in the oil and gas sector, we seek to promote a more open, collaborative, and systemic culture of innovation.
PETRIS was structured based on a diagnosis of the value chain, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for modernization or innovation.
This mapping ensured focus and adherence to the real demands of the industry from the outset and gave rise to the Project Lab: a methodology developed to empower startups in the creation of qualified R&D projects with technical consistency and regulatory compliance.

The first edition of PETRIS demonstrated an effective capacity for mobilization and coordination within the Oil and Gas ecosystem.
There were over 70 registered startups, 10 operators and supplier companies, 3 universities, as well as ICTs, associations and other professionals related to the sector.
The training program had 175 participants across the 5 sessions held in its first edition.
The selection prioritized technological maturity and real potential for industrial application. The training track covered project structuring, fundraising through the ANP clause, complementary instruments such as EMBRAPII, and a strategic vision of the sector.
Who can participate?
Organizations in the oil and gas sector, of any size, location, or operational profile, that already work with or wish to work with R&D.
Startups with the technical capacity to execute R&D projects or that already have solutions for the oil and gas sector are eligible. Structuring more than one project is permitted.

Transforming the sector with innovation.
MOA Ventures, a leader in startup acceleration, investment, and innovation programs, is responsible for executing the Program, which consists of three stages:

1. Content Tracks
Meetings covering topics such as fundraising, structuring R&D projects, and best business practices. Startups receive ongoing support to develop high-quality projects that are relevant to their sector.

2. Pitch Day
An event where startups present the projects they have developed throughout the program to a panel composed of companies from the Oil and Gas sector.
The date for the next Pitch Day will be announced soon.

3. Matchmaking
Following Pitch Day, the program fosters direct connections between startups and corporations interested in enabling the execution of the presented projects, opening up concrete opportunities for partnership and joint development.
